    Carrefour Supermarket Marketing & Concept Manager

    Sept. 2015-July 2019

    Carrefour Taiwan supermarket division is a newly built-up business in 2013.
    As developing a new business, I am in charge of its marketing concept and member management. Also do internal cross-function communication to articulate the vision of supermarket division. My duty is about but not limited to marketing communication strategy, improving in-store customer shopping experience such as implementing POSM & weekend activities, and consumer insight analysis.

    I won the award of Carrefour Young Talent of 2018; leader of internal consumer insight research and young talent city organization,which aims in omni-channel projects. Named as deputy of supermarket division concept & assortment director.

     

    Main Achievements :
    ■Lead a team of 3 for supermarket store layout, assets and implementation management, especially in new store opening executions and operational marketing. Managed opening promotions & events for 53 new supermarket stores, collaborating with expansion & asset project team.

    ■Promoted to be division manager in 6 months after joined Carrefour Supermarket Division.
    ■Increased supermarket promotion catalog LFL sales by 17% in year 2016, by 18% in year 2017.
    ■Revamped customer loyalty redemption project in year 2016, generating a 330% sales increase over the previous year.
    ■Planned in-store activity & communication guidebooks for main promotion campaigns; CNY campaign in 2016 & 2017, both generating sales increases of over 8%; had positive sales growth rates 3 years in the row from 2016 to 2018.

    Wang De Change is a pioneer in the tea field with solid traditional tea craft since 1862.Its vision is to articulate Chinese cultures through the beauty of Taiwanese tea craft and tea ceremony.

    My role was identifying brand concept and developing business through market research, cost-benefit analysis, implementing product campaigns, and member loyalty program.

    Main Achievements:
    ■Developed loyalty program by initiating VIP scented-flower tea party in year 2012, targeting 60 VIP customers and increasing flower tea category sales by 20%.
    ■Managed and executed puer tea repacking project in year 2012, developing niche market and increasing puer tea category sales by 200%.
    ■Managed marketing budget for annual campaigns and in-store promotion POSM & activities.
